# EventCompletion

> EventCompletion (https://eventcompletion.com) creates a public, always-up-to-date page for any event defined by a name and two dates. Each page shows the percentage of the event completed, the days elapsed and remaining, and can be shared, embedded (Notion, WordPress, any site) or added to a calendar. No account is required. Made by Stanleon (https://stanleon.cc).

EventCompletion also keeps a curated, source-verified catalogue of well-known events: sports seasons and tournaments, trade shows, festivals, summits, French school holidays (zones A/B/C), French political and parliamentary deadlines (2027 presidential election, budget calendar) and more. Every curated event lists its dates, location, the source they were verified against and the verification date.

- Dates of curated events are checked against the organiser's or an official source (linked on each event page). Dates may change; the page shows when they were last verified.
- Events created by visitors are public but not curated or indexed; treat them as user-provided.
- Progress is computed from the current time and the start/end dates each time a page is loaded.
- Languages: English and French (selected from the visitor's browser language).
